Right, Microsoft figures that they’ve spent too much in the 360 as far as repairs and such that they won’t be releasing the unofficially named 720 until sometime 2011, give or take a year.

If you can HONESTLY wait 2-3 years, then wait.

BUT If you get giddy the night before Christmas, its obvious you CAN’T wait and you should probably pick one up to hold you over.

The folks at Microsoft said they’re going to do the same thing when the 720 is released that they did when the 360 was released in terms of the original X box, as long as it sells they will keep providing games and support as long as it sells. So the 360 will be around possibly as long as 2013.
