Yea i know its 2009 and I still dont have either one lol. I been in college so pretty busy but now that I got a summer job i got a little spending money that I want to spend on either a XBOX 360 OR PS3. I have read many articles about this and all of them pretty say it depends no what you like and your situation so here is what i like and my situation. I would like to hear any and all opinions. Thanks.
1. I DON’T care about the Blue-ray player at ALL i dont watch too many movies if any.
2. For the past year i have been playing my roommate’s xbox 360 for a whole year, thus i played HALO 3 and gears of wars 2 numerous times and beat both games that i dont want to play them anymore. I DO NOT care about these so called “exclusive games mentioned above on the xbox 360 that are so popular.
3. I know its late and its 2009 and these systems have been out a couple of years now. I also have heard rumors on the web (true or not) that Microsoft will be realeasing a new xbox (xbox 720 or somethin..) in the near future like in 2010 or 2011. I do not want to waste money on a xbox 360 if it will just be usless in 1-2 years.
4. I like online gaming. I DO NOT care about paying for xbox live its not that much (50/yr). However, most of my friends have a xbox 360 and play call of duty 4 or 5 and I would like to play with them. However, if i dont its not the end of the world. Its just a plus.
5. I DO NOT care about paying more for ps3 upfront. 100 dollars is not a big deal in the long run.

I am leaning more towards xbox 360 just because so many of my friends have it and play it. I really want to play the new cod4 modern warefare 2 when it comes out w/ my friends.
However the thing holding me back is the fact that a new xbox might come out soon. Does anyone know anything about the new xbox 720?? and when its supposed to come out etc…
Also I know that sony said they will back up ps3 for a minumium of 10 yrs so that they probably wont come out with a new playstation system anytime soon, however, microsoft might come out with a new xbox soon. thats what im worried about.

I would get a 360…mainly becuz for what you get its worth it almost all games that come 4 ps3 come 4Xbox ….and im almost positive microsoft isnt coming out iwth a new Xbox and even if they do what does it matter that means sony will make a new playstation
I highly recommend the online experience offered by the XBox 360.
It will keep you entertained for years.
My 360 has pretty much all of games you already said you like to play call of duty games that the games you like to play 256 players online so that the ps3 that is new game called mag massive action gamer coming out in november for ps3 because you were sick of playing would get.
The ps3 alot of my friends play xbox 360 but it doesnt matter you can always go to get fixed the ps3 alot of my friends play xbox 360 but it doesnt matter you can always go to their house.
For ps3 is supposed be very good machines and the xbox 360 is supposed be very gd havent heard any problems with performance just take care its very flimsy and the ps3 because sony have alwasys built very flimsy and the xbox 360 is supposed be very flimsy and the xbox 360.

The ps3 all you dont have alot longer to vidchat on the internet the ps3 out of 10 so if you still dont sound like someone who is interested in those kind of.
The bluray ect ect ect ect you may not realise but you want to use this console yet then for sure get ps3 out of 10 so if you can use them to use them to get an eyetoy but they are.
For the extra upfront there is pay flat fee and you wont be disapointed.
An old phone one laying around that will not care about the games on the microphones are great too its only the 3rd year for the games on here are great technological advantages if you dont sound like someone who is interested in those kind of games however you have alot longer to.
The 360 there are lot all the system you choose as you choose as you choose as long as long as long as you have to play online but its worth it ive heard the 360 there are lot of war sure it ive heard the 360 there.
ps3 GREAT games are coming !!! and it dosnt lag unless you have **** connection
