The direction they start talking about it yet wouldnt be surprised if they intend to go with it at e3 this year though.

I think we are reaching a peak in gaming performance. We may not be there yet, but not too long from now we’ll see that graphics just won’t get any better and developers will be focused on gameplay over visuals which will be pretty much perfect.

Nintendo’s already got the head start with the Wii. It has prooved that perfecting innovative control takes time, but it still can work. Come next gen, Microsoft and Sony will be struggling with new control types, while Nintendo will have already mastered it and will have the graphical capabilities equal to that of the PS4 or Xbox whatever.

To actually answer your question though, no. There has been no announcement from Microsoft about any successor to the 360.
