We all know that Bungie (the creaters for halo 1,2,3) have said that there won’t be a Halo 4 because they will not be creating another Halo game. But now rumours say that Gearbox are developing Halo alongside Microsft and release it with Xbox 720. Microsoft know that if they sell the Xbox 720 without a big selling game then hardly anyone will buy it, cause of the failure of the Xbox 360 having so many system problems, that is why they are trying to get Halo 4 going so that people will buy the 720. We know that our next-gen console won’t sell any good without a big selling game like Halo, with the failure of the Xbox 360, people will turn to Sony and buy the PS3 (and PS4). We have talked to Gearbox but no agreement has been made and Halo 4 is only a rumour at this point, if we can’t create a Halo 4 then our staff will look to combine with another company to create a whole new game (that hopefully will sell good) They were the words from a Microsoft executive.
