I have a PS3, but after I heard about Natal, I wanted an Xbox 360. I don’t know if when Natal comes out if it will be for like the new Xbox (720 or redesigned 360). I would like to buy the Elite because for $100 more, it is black, more memory, comes with HDMI cable, and Fable 2 and Halo 3. Please I want the advice. Thanks

This generation supposedly JUST starting to be a problem because the xbox 360 has just a dvd drive. What will they do when they need more space for the games, will it come with 2 or 3 dvd’s because sony obviously isn’t going to let them have bluray in the xbox 720(?). I think thats how it works right, sony owns the rights for bluray and they get to decide who uses it and who doesn’t correct me if i’m wrong. I have a ps3 but i don’t know what will happen the the next xbox or even the xbox 360 without blu ray! I’m not being a fanboy either cause I honestly respect both sony and microsoft’s consoles but i’m just wondering you know what i mean!

I heard the new xbox was supposed to be released 2010, why so soon. I just got the Xbox 360 for Christmas and now I will have to buy the new one. It seems silly considering the PS3 is not releasing theirs until 2014. Wouldn’t it cut though sales, and the Xbox is still better to the PS3, so why make another system so soon.

Reading up I heard that the 360 has the slight edge over a PS3 graphically although I also read from a games programmer that the PS3 has much more potential in the long run but programming games onto it is harder so we are getting XBOX conversions.
Dont know if its true,its just what i read.
I have pros and cons for both machines.
Ps3 for me has better controllers,because im used to playstations.Ive also heard they are a quieter machine, they have the bluray technology and could be a better machine in the long run.
The 360 is cheaper and get more for the money,Ive heard the graphics edge the ps3(so far) and the online stuff is better,although i never really use this. Plus there are a wider range of games too.
Which do i buy for the long run and long term potential?
The only thing swaying me to the PS3 is that im more of a Gran turismo fan than a halo fan.
Im looking LONG TERM not now!!!! Help!!!Otherwise I may as well wait for the PS4 and the XBOX 720!!lol
Thanks for the answers although Troy’s isnt actually correct as ive heard on several occasions that the graphics are slightly superior on the 360.
If I was to compare the 360 to the ps3 it would have to be the XBOX elite not the 20gb version otherwise I would choose the ps3 everytime.

when will the next gaming generation be released? I know that the new gaming conzoles might not be called those names, but I was just wondering if it was too late to buy like a Xbox 360/PS3 if there would be a new gaming concole coming out like next year. so when will the 8th generation of gaming be released?

Rumours has it that Halo 4 could be in development for release on the day Xbox 720 comes out. We all know that Bungie (the creaters for halo 1,2,3) have said that there won’t be a Halo 4 because they will not be creating another Halo game. But now rumours say that Gearbox are developing Halo alongside Microsft and release it with Xbox 720. Microsoft know that if they sell the Xbox 720 without a big selling game then hardly anyone will buy it, cause of the failure of the Xbox 360 having so many system problems, that is why they are trying to get Halo 4 going so that people will buy the 720. We know that our next-gen console won’t sell any good without a big selling game like Halo, with the failure of the Xbox 360, people will turn to Sony and buy the PS3 (and PS4). We have talked to Gearbox but no agreement has been made and Halo 4 is only a rumour at this point, if we can’t create a Halo 4 then our staff will look to combine with another company to create a whole new game (that hopefully will sell good) They were the words from a Microsoft executive.
