In the past, owning your own home cinema used to be expensive. You needed to be one of those lucky few who had money pouring in left, right and centre. However, today is different, and more and more people are buying into a home cinema. And what’s more, it likely won’t cost you as much as you think!

There is a much easier way to create a home cinema. You don’t need special equipment and you don’t have to make structural changes to your home or even create a special room for your home cinema. You could have your home cinema to work with the available space to you.

Forget a television in inches, think meters! It can seem like science fiction, and not something you would expect to find in your own home, however, it is possible, and considering that this could cost less than a decent sized LCD HDTV, you can see why this is going to be fun!

The basics of this home cinema system is that you will have a HDTV projector to create the main part of your home cinema. There are a few other components that will make this work, and even though this is not the only way to go about it, it will be fruitful.

The HDTV projectors available today produce a high definition image, and are simply amazing to see. A good HDTV projector can be found for around $1,000, which beats many LCD HDTV sets.

Now that we have the actual projection, you will also need to factor in a brain - an entertainment system. After all, what use is it to have a good projector with HDTV and not have any way to get any use out of it?

HDTV projectors don’t come with a built in television tuner, so you will need something extra. Luckily the projectors with HDTV have inputs. These inputs can have your other equipment connect to it, like your satellite or cable, your computer or even a DVD player.

A great solution that I have to say is possibly the best option is the new Sony PlayStation 3’s. After seeing this baby in action, it must be the closest thing to an all inclusive entertainment system.

Not only can the Sony PlayStation 3 allow you to have Microsoft Windows installed, it can allow you to play DVD’s and be used as a gaming system. This is mass value, and compared with a PC alone, this wins hands down.

You are free to use whatever you want with HDTV projectors - as long as it has an output that works with the input of the HDTV projector. You could even use an Xbox. Creating a home cinema doesn’t need to be expensive. And with these components, you can expect to have a home cinema for less than what a decent sized HDTV LCD television set can offer.

This a short little video of the first shots of the rumored 8th generation game consoles: Playstation 4, Xbox 720, and Wiivolution. I’m not saying that any of this is true. This is only for your judgment. Since so many people are asking, the name of the song in the video is “Meant To Live” by Switchfoot. And no, I DID NOT PHOTOSHOP THESE PICTURES!!
